About Us: Spartan Logistics International, LLC is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) located in Central Florida but with extensive international experience. We specialize in planning, coordinating, staffing, and executing logistical solutions from providing consulting services to teaming with our partners to support a large scale operation anywhere in the world.

Management: Our Founder & President, Mark Ferris, is a Service Disabled Veteran with over 30 years of operational experience in the field of logistics. During his military career, he served in various worldwide command and staff positions highlighted by his final assignment as a Battalion Commander serving in Afghanistan.  Following his retirement from the military, Mr. Ferris entered the world of defense contracting. Highlights of his civilian contracting career include:

  • Director of Logistics for the Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) modernization program

  • Operations Manager for the Global Maintenance Support Services (GMASS) in Kuwait

  • Country Manager for the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Program in Iraq

  • Country Manager for the Logistics Civilian Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) in Afghanistan

  • Country Manager for Hurricane Relief in Puerto Rico

  • Country Manager for logistical support of the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Power Restoration Mission in Puerto Rico

The Services offered by Spartan Logistics International are a reflection of the professional experience of our President. Mr. Ferris earned his certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is certified as a Value Based Six Sigma (VBSS) Green Belt from ITT Industries. Prior to becoming the Country Lead for operations in Puerto Rico, Mr. Ferris reached the midway point of obtaining his Doctorate in Project Management.
